Great people doing

great things:

Here is a list of some great resources to help you with your journey into regenerative agriculture. Each source has a large compilation of materials that add immeasurably to the wealth of information available. Please give these guys a visit. A lot of the legwork has been done by them already.

  • “The power to regenerate lands and livelihoods lies not in our practices but in how we manage the ecological, financial, and social dynamics. More than just a grazing system, Holistic Management is a framework for making decisions amidst the ever-changing conditions of the living world.” -Their Website

The Savory Institute really is in a league of it own. It is one of the only organizations teaching regenerative agriculture across the globe. They created Holistic Management, a framework for managing complex systems that forces you to acknowledge and correct the consequences of poor decisions that may impact your environment, life, and world at large. Their two books are some of the best resources I could provide to a new farmer concerned with staying on the course of regenerative agriculture. These systems work all over the world and are meant to manage ALL complex systems, including the ones that may impact your life directly, even outside the regenerative agriculture space. • “We are a non-profit organization that has been providing educational videos of hands-on workshops from our farms to a community of growers locally and around the world for over a decade. We created a lasting learning library exploring organic growing methods and regenerative practices for resilient living. Thanks for being part of our community of gardeners, farmers and earth stewards now more than 207,000 people strong and growing. We have much more exciting material to share but we need your support. Your tax-deductible donation to Living Web Farms will help keep our community alive so we can continue to plant seeds of positive change for a more healthy and livable future.” -Their website

  • “This podcast is for professional growers and agronomists who want to learn about the science and principles of regenerative agriculture systems to increase quality, yield, and profitability.” -Their Website

  • These guys are doing a ton of great work analyzing the impact of regenerative agriculture on our food. They’re also developing ways for us to test our food before we buy, aiming to promote the production and consumption of food with a higher nutrient density. Check out their website here.

  • SHA, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, focuses its efforts on helping farmers first UNDERSTAND and then successfully apply nature’s time-proven, regenerative agriculture principles today—in order to grow healthier soil, food, farms and communities for tomorrow.

"The mission of the non-profit Soil Health Academy is to teach and assist farmers and ranchers in applying time-tested, ecological principles and biomimicry to regenerate our living and life-giving soil. In restoring the health of our soil’s ecosystem, we will restore the health of our bodies, our farms, our communities, and our planet." -Their Website
